In 2026, lake.bike will be celebrating its 10th anniversary – and we’re celebrating it with you! From 2 to 5 July 2026, Faak am See will become the place to be for everyone who loves trails, bikes, the community and the region. Look forward to a multi-day anniversary weekend featuring group rides, family activities, local cuisine, shows, music and special moments.
10 YEARS OF TRAILS, COMMUNITY AND AUTHENTIC BIKING MOMENTS
What began ten years ago is now an integral part of our Villach – Faaker See – Ossiacher See cycling region: lake.bike stands for varied trails, shared experiences, strong partners and a community that grows year on year.
To mark our 10th anniversary, we’re looking back at the development of lake.bike, celebrating the people behind the trails and looking ahead together. We bring guests, locals, families, partners and cycling enthusiasts together.

Please note: The programme is currently being finalised. Individual programme items, times and venues are subject to change. Further details regarding registration, participating partners and the final schedule will be provided in good time before the event.
The official kick-off to the anniversary weekend: on Thursday evening, we’ll be celebrating the start of lake.bike’s 10th anniversary together – amidst the special atmosphere of the farmers’ market in Faak am See.

Saturday is all about sport: the Adventure Trail Day focuses on group rides, technical training sessions, bike challenges and activities for riders of all abilities.
Highlights: group rides, technical training sessions, trail photography, children’s pump track races, the PRO Challenge & prize-giving ceremony, and a get-together.

For selected programme items, advance registration is required.
This applies in particular to ride-outs with a limited number of participants (8 people per group), children’s skills training on Friday (max. 20 children), the kids’ pump track race (max. 80 participants), and a Shootingride at the Jumpgartner Trail sponsored by LINES, with an unlimited number of participants.
Registration is possible up to 24 hours before the respective programme item. This allows us to plan group sizes, safety and quality as effectively as possible.

Young cycling enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy during the anniversary weekend. The programme includes children’s activities, technical training sessions, a children’s pump track race and family-friendly events taking place around the farmers’ market area and the trail centres.
Whether it’s a first taste of cycling, fun technical training or simply a relaxing day enjoying local food and music, the weekend offers plenty of opportunities for shared experiences.
As well as the sporting programme, you can look forward to a relaxed atmosphere featuring regional cuisine, music, exhibitors and a place to meet up, socialise and spend time together. On Thursday and Friday, the farmers’ market site in Faak am See will become the central hub for socialising, finding out more and celebrating the anniversary.
