Terms and Conditions of Participation

By participating in the competition, participants accept these Terms and Conditions of Participation.

1. Organiser
The organiser of the competition is Region Villach Tourismus GmbH, Peraustraße 32, 9500 Villach, Austria.

2. Subject of the Competition
The subject of the competition is participation in the digital lake.bike Wheel of Fortune competition as part of “10 Years of lake.bike” on the lake.bike website.

3. Participation Period
The competition runs from 1 June 2026, 00:00, until and including 2 July 2026, 23:59. Entries received after the end of the participation period cannot be considered.

4. Eligibility and Participation Requirements
Eligible to participate are natural persons aged 18 or over who, during the campaign period, click the “SPIN” button on the competition page, enter the required contact details completely and truthfully, and agree to the Terms and Conditions of Participation.

Participation is free of charge and does not depend on the purchase of goods or services. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries, automated entries, and entries submitted via competition clubs or other service providers are excluded. Employees of Region Villach Tourismus GmbH, their relatives living in the same household, as well as all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and their relatives, are excluded from participation. The organiser reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition in the event of false information, suspected manipulation, violations of the Terms and Conditions of Participation, or abusive participation.

5. Participation Process
Participation in the competition takes place by clicking the “SPIN” button on the competition page and by entering the mandatory contact details completely and truthfully within the specified participation period. After spinning the digital wheel of fortune, participants will be shown whether they have won and which prize they have won.

For prizes in the form of discounts, the respective discount will be displayed immediately after participation. The discount can be redeemed in the respective online shop in accordance with the applicable redemption conditions. For main prizes and physical prizes, participants will be shown which prize they have won. To process and receive the prize, winners must contact info@lake.bike by email and provide their complete details.

Incomplete, incorrect, or late entries submitted after the participation deadline cannot be considered.

6. Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded as part of the competition:

Travel costs, local tax, travel insurance, additional consumption, and other incidental costs are not included in the prize unless expressly stated as part of the prize.

Winners receive one ABUS CliffHanger bike helmet.
Winners must contact info@lake.bike and provide their complete details.

Winners receive one lake.bike T-shirt. Winners must contact info@lake.bike and provide their complete details as well as their T-shirt size.

1 x ENDURA Bike Outfit
Winners receive one ENDURA outfit consisting of shorts/trousers and a jersey from the MT500 collection.
Winners must contact info@lake.bike and provide their complete details as well as their clothing size.

7. Determination of Winners
The winners are determined as part of the digital wheel of fortune. After clicking the “SPIN” button, the respective prize is displayed automatically.
There is no entitlement to a specific prize. The number of available prizes is limited.

8. Notification and Processing of Prizes
For discount prizes, the respective discount will be displayed immediately after participation. Winners redeem the discount independently in the respective online shop indicated.
For main prizes and physical prizes, further processing takes place by email. Winners must contact info@lake.bike and provide the complete details required for prize processing.
If a winner of a holiday prize does not respond within 10 calendar days after the prize notification or contact, or if the data required for prize processing cannot be provided in full, the organiser reserves the right to award the prize to someone else.

If a winner of another physical prize does not respond within 7 calendar days after the prize notification or contact, or if the data required for prize processing cannot be provided in full, the organiser reserves the right to award the prize to someone else.

9. Exclusion from the Competition
The organiser reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition if incorrect or incomplete information is provided, if these Terms and Conditions of Participation are violated, or if manipulation or attempted manipulation is detected.
This applies in particular to multiple entries, automated entries, technical manipulation, or abusive use of the competition system.

10. No Cash Payment / No Transferability
Cash payment of the prizes is excluded.
The prizes cannot be exchanged.
The prizes are not transferable to other persons.
Discounts can only be redeemed in accordance with the respective redemption conditions. Each discount code may only be used once per person. Discounts that are not redeemed expire after the respective redemption period has ended.

11. Data Protection

The following personal data is processed for the purpose of conducting the competition:

This data is processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting and handling the competition. This includes, in particular, checking the participation requirements, determining or assigning the prizes, and processing and communicating in connection with the prizes. For main prizes and physical prizes, additional information may be required as part of further prize processing, in particular complete contact details, T-shirt size, or clothing size, insofar as this is necessary for handing over or processing the respective prize.
Providing the data is required for participation in the competition. Participation is not possible without this data. The data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for conducting the competition or required by law. The data will only be stored for as long as necessary to conduct and process the competition. Unless statutory retention obligations apply, the data will be deleted after the competition has been completed and fully processed.

Participants have the following rights within the scope of the statutory provisions:

Right to object, where applicable
Right to data portability, where applicable

As part of the competition form, participants have the option to additionally subscribe to the newsletter of lake.bike and Region Villach Tourismus GmbH by ticking a separate checkbox.

Subscription to the newsletter is voluntary and is not a prerequisite for participating in the competition. After ticking the checkbox, participants will receive an email to confirm the newsletter subscription. The newsletter subscription only becomes effective once the confirmation link contained in this email has been activated. For sending the newsletter, the personal data required for this purpose, in particular the email address, will be processed. Processing is carried out on the basis of the consent given pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, in particular via the unsubscribe link in the respective newsletter. Data processing in connection with the newsletter is carried out separately from the implementation of the competition. Failure to confirm the newsletter subscription or a later withdrawal of consent to receive the newsletter has no effect on participation in the competition.

12. No Publication of Winners’ Names
The names of the winners will not be published.

13. Early Termination and Changes

The organiser reserves the right to terminate, interrupt, or modify the competition prematurely at any time for important reasons, provided that proper implementation cannot be guaranteed for legal, technical, or organisational reasons. This applies in particular in the event of technical problems, attempted manipulation, system failures, or other circumstances beyond the organiser’s control.

14. Legal Recourse
Legal recourse regarding the implementation of the competition, the prize decision, and the awarding of prizes is excluded.
