Trails

lake.bike is committed to the ongoing development of high-quality MTB infrastructure in the south of Austria. Our mission is to legalize mountain bike trails, design diverse MTB tours, and build a strong network of partners within the lake.bike community.

In the MTB region Villach – Faaker See – Ossiacher See, you can explore 45 exciting mountain bike trails and over 200 kilometers of professionally maintained MTB routes – a true paradise for your bike holiday in Austria.
28 trails surround Faaker See, known for alpine terrain and sporty lines. Another 17 trails offer scenic biking around Ossiacher See – ideal for families, leisure riders, and panorama lovers.

👉 Important for your trip planning:
The lake.bike Trail Ticket is only required for trails within the Trailcenters at Lake Faak and Lake Ossiach. No ticket is needed for the signposted MTB tours outside these trail centers.
If you ride the Kanzelbahn cable car to Gerlitzen Alpe and purchase a lift ticket, you can access the PROlitzen Trail without an additional Trail Ticket.
